With so many things in our lives causing stress and decreasing our vitality, floatation therapy at INNGI may be your solution to stress relief! Float allows the body to be entirely supported and weightless, which alleviates physical stress. Research also shows that floating in a sensory restricted environment can help people reach states of deep meditation faster and easier than traditional meditation practices. Being in a meditative state significantly decreases brain activity and lowers blood pressure. The meditative brain waves are called Theta brain waves. Theta brain waves activate the release of chemicals (neurotransmitters, specifically) which boost your immune system and actually help with stress and anxiety long after you stop floating!

During your session at INNGI you’re in an essentially gravity free environment which takes pressure off the joints for a full hour. This decreases inflammation caused by physical pain. Additionally, the high concentration of magnesium sulphate in the water, helps provide a reset for the cardiovascular system along with the digestive system. This reset reduces and in some cases stops the body’s inflammatory response.
